Returns & Refund Policy

At Mindfully, customer satisfaction is important to us. Because our products are cosmetic items intended for use by children, we follow strict hygiene and safety standards. The policy below explains when returns, replacements, or refunds may be granted.

1. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS (COSMETIC HYGIENE LAW)

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Any opened, used, or tested products

  • Cosmetics that have had their seal broken

  • Makeup, glitter, or skincare that has been swatched or applied

  • Products used by children

  • Items damaged through misuse or neglect

As per South African hygiene regulations and the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

2. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged,

  • Faulty, or

  • Not what you ordered,

please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.​

To process a replacement or refund, we require:

  • Photos of the product

  • Photos of the packaging

  • Your order number​

If approved:

  • We will replace the item or issue a refund at our discretion

  • We will cover the cost of return shipping (if applicable)

 

3. ALLERGIC REACTIONS OR SENSITIVITIES

All ingredients are listed clearly on our website and packaging leaflet.

Because every individual’s skin is different:

  • We do not issue refunds for allergic reactions, irritation, or sensitivities

  • You agree to perform a patch test before full use

  • Discontinue use if irritation occurs

4. SALE ITEMS / PROMOTIONS

  • Sale items, discounted products, gift sets, or bundles are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded unless damaged in transit.

  • Free gifts cannot be exchanged or refunded

 

5. LOST OR STOLEN PARCELS

Once your order has been handed to the courier:

  • We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or stolen parcels

  • Claims must be lodged directly with the courier service

  • We will assist you where possible, but cannot guarantee courier compensation

 

6. PROCESSING TIME FOR APPROVED REFUNDS

Once approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days

  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method

  • Processing time may depend on your bank

 

7. CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be cancelled before they are packed or shipped. Once an order has left our premises, it cannot be cancelled and must follow the Returns Policy above.
